Ball on the Square Beckons




The Ball on The Square, held annually on the third Thursday of June, is the largest fundraising event for Friends of Rittenhouse Square. A black tie gala from 7 p.m. to midnight, June 23, with magical ambience, it features elegant, sit-down dinner, fabulous music and dancing.

Held under a large tent in the center of Rittenhouse Square, the Ball transforms the park into a sparkling ballroom for one night. It attracts notable Philadelphians, including industry leaders, philanthropists, business executives, politicians,and long-time residents of the Square. The Ball is widely considered to be one of the most prestigious events on the Philadelphia social calendar.
